Leading up to the homecoming games this Friday, JCA is celebrating Spirit Week. Students are asked to wear outfits that correspond to the theme of the day. Monday is "Blast From the Past", Tuesday is "Camouflage and Hat Day", Wednesday is "Nerd Day", Thursday is "Crayon and Letter Day" and Friday is "Blue & Gold Day". Classes will get points for participation and the winning team will be announced at the homecoming pep rally. School dress code still applies in the area of modesty.

      Joshua Ervin, an 8th grader at Jacksonville Christian Academy, was honored by Volunteer Onslow Tuesday morning for his service to the Onslow County community. Josh received the Golden Rule Award along with Anthony Brenes, a Senior at Southwest High School. This was the first time that the award had been given to youth.
